Pediatric Therapy
By combining therapy and play, children have fun while improving their gross and fine motor skills. At Rehab Connection, the use of neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), myofascial release, sensory integration, and other therapeutic techniques help children gain the coordination, strength, flexibility, and balance necessary to improve their motor skills. We help children with neurological and orthopedic conditions including, but not limited to:
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Autism
- Cerebral palsy
- Congenital anomalies
- Developmental delay
- Down syndrome
- Fine motor delays
- Gait disorders
- Handwriting issues
- Pervasive development disorder (PDD)
- Prematurity
- Spina bifida
Thanks to the generous contribution from The New Jersey Pediatric Patients Charitable Trust Fund, we have developed an Aqua Buddy Swim Club. This program is for children with disabilities and teaches them water safety, as well as, how to swim. This service is limited to our Barrington and JCC locations.

Aquatic Therapy
Aquatic therapy helps increase strength, flexibility, endurance, and function. The buoyancy properties of the water maximizes the benefits of the exercise while reducing stress on the joints. Individualized aquatic exercise programs are designed for each patient. Thanks to the generous contribution from The New Jersey Pediatric Patients Charitable Trust Fund we have started our Aqua Buddy Swim Club. This program is for children with disabilities and teaches them how to swim and water safety.

Wii - PT
We now offer a new twist on traditional therapy in our Barrington location, incorporating modern technology and innovative techniques for patients of all ages with our Wii-PT. Wii-PT utilizes the Nintendo Wii and Wii Fit's virtual sport simulated activities like bowling, tennis, golf, baseball and skiing to integrate functional activities into a Physical Therapy session. We also offer virtual balance activities like tight rope walking and ski jumping. This technology makes Physical Therapy a "wanna-do" instead of a "gotta-do" activity.
Nintendo Wii and Wii Fit are a registered Trademark of Nintendo incorporated.
