If you have any questions, please contact us at 856-547-4422 to speak directly with a Physical Therapist who can address your individual needs and recommend the appropriate treatment.
Our additional Physical Therapy services include:
Aquatic Therapy: The therapy utilizes the pool to help control pain while increasing strength, flexibility, endurance, and function. The buoyancy properties of the water maximize the benefits of the exercise while reducing stress on the joints. Our patients enjoy individualized attention and eventual progression into land based therapies.
Thanks to the generous contribution from The New Jersey Pediatric Patients Charitable Trust Fund we continue to offer our Aqua Buddies Swim Program. This program is for children with disabilities and teaches them about water safety and how to swim. Please click here for registration form.
Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE): An FCE is an extensive short-term evaluation that focuses on major physical tolerance abilities related to musculoskeletal strength, endurance, speed and flexbility. This test is designed to determine the extent of injury, necessity for Physical Therapy and ability to return to work. It is performed by a licensed Physical Therapist using the Roy Matheson protocol, which carries the highest validity available today. FCE reports are provided to the physician within 48 hours.
Work Injury Program: We want our patients to get back to work after suffering an injury. Whether it be neck and back injuries, strains and sprains, post-surgical care, neurological dysfunction or repetitive motion injuries, our experienced staff will provide our patients with the program that meets their individual work needs. We coordinate care with the physician, case managers and employer to ensure a limited loss of work time, proper documentation to facilitate case closure, and efforts to minimize rehabilitation costs for all parties involved.
Wii PT: Wii PT inegrates fun into physical therapy by incorporating Nintendo Wii and Wii Fit's virtual sport simulated activities like baseball, skiing and similar functional activities into a Physical Therapy session. This technology makes Physical Therapy a "wanna-do" instead of a "gotta-do" activity.
Pediatric Therapy: By combining therapy and play, children have fun while improving their gross and fine motor skills. Please click here to read more about our Pediatric Therapy services.
Vestibular Rehabilitation: This form of physical therapy is specially designed to treat patients who experience dizziness. Using exercise-based programs and techniques, our therapists can specifically target deficits in the inner ear. Vestibular rehabilitation can cure symptoms of vertigo and improve mobility and balance.
FitTEST Fitness Physical: FitTEST is a new, state-of-the-art Physical Fitness Assessment that is administered by a Physical Therapist in just about an hour. Our trained therapist utilizes extensive testing and an innovative software program to provide you with a detailed and accurate assessment of your fitness level, along with an individualized, precise exercise prescription to improve your health and your game performance.
Lymphedema Rehabilitation: Our Physical Therapists have specialized training in Lymphedema Evaluation and Treatment. We utilize a comprehensive, research based approach to assess lymphedema disorders and create individualized treatment protocols for each patient. The treatment program may include manual lymphatic drainage, specialty equipment and supplies, patient education and exercise. Our goal is to intervene and support patients in the management of their lymphedema, in a comfortable and professional atmosphere.
